UniVRse is proud to be selected as the technology partner for the supply of computer equipment and immersive technology solutions for the VR Lab at Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM). This project reflects UniVRse’s commitment to delivering not only advanced technology, but also practical knowledge that enables institutions to fully maximise their investment.
As part of this engagement, UniVRse supplied a range of specialised equipment and systems to support immersive learning, creative production, and hands-on experimentation within the VR Lab environment. The delivered solutions included software audio editing systems for the CREAM Lab, high-performance computers for the VR Cube, VR headsets with 3D software and applications, 3D printers, performance PC sets, mobile devices such as the iPad Pro 13-inch and Surface Pro 9, as well as ergonomic supporting hardware including professional gaming chairs and computer tables designed for long-term use.

A four-day Transfer of Technology (ToT) programme was conducted to ensure effective utilisation of the delivered technologies. The first three days were held on-site at UPNM, where participants received hands-on training in the actual lab environment. The sessions focused on system setup, operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, allowing participants to apply the knowledge directly using the supplied equipment. The final day was conducted off-site at Royal Park Hotel, where participants were introduced to immersive VR development workflows, including VR system configuration, scene setup, and deployment to VR headsets.
Through this collaboration, UPNM gained the practical skills and confidence to independently operate and manage its VR lab facilities. The ToT session created an engaging and impactful learning experience, where participants worked directly with the supplied equipment and applied the knowledge immediately within the lab environment. This approach ensured that the technology could be effectively integrated into teaching, research, and immersive training activities, supporting long-term sustainability and continuous innovation at UPNM.
